And this is tested, if you start steam with that parameters the entire 'connect' command is blocked and it's just a matter of time until this will be released as a stable fix.

Another useless update from valve.
Yes, xredirect doesn't work proper anymore if you apply that update to your steam account.
Any fixes for that ?

i just moved and are still busy with the furnishing and everything so i currently don't really have time to investigate into that. what i will do right now is revive and sticky the old thread about this issue and hope that someone else will find a way to circumvent that. chances are that valve has finally completely broken it and we can't do much about it

however, if someone comes up with something i will try to get it ready and online asap.

No offence to the plugin author but hanks valve. This plugin was very cool on community server where they've got much servers and you could switch the server with a simple menu. Nowadays I hate those redirect servers. Hope they will also block slowhacking codes in plugins too like in source games.

i get your point but you seem to be comparing two entirely different things. the fake servers flooding the master list and all redirecting to one server in the end are not using xREDIRECT. xREDIRECT is used on community servers as you described them.
