If you are having issues viewing logs on hlsw try adding:

logaddress_add YOURIP : PORT (I put spaces in there only to get rid of the damn smiley)

to your server.cfg somewhere. It should send you the logs to you regardless of pressing the "get logs" in HLSW.

ah havent tried the log, all the other commands worked, but I see now I get same error... must be the 20th of April update

it seems that right after the ip is added, it is also deleted would this be viable for opening an issue on github?
ok i tried adding the ip with port 7130 directly in hlsw console and it seems it worked but I still got the error message for some reason

I just started running a server again the other day (HL1 engine, DoD 1.3) for the first time in a couple years.. Was pretty sad to find HLSW didnt work too well anymore.. Once out of every 25+ tries, it *might* get the console output for a little while, but I couldnt send anything to the console and chat didnt work.

Then just a couple hours ago it started working a bit better, sorta... It will get the logs and let me send to the console and see the chat, but after a little while it stops and so far the only way Ive managed to get them again is to close hlsw and then open it back up

..I thought maybe running logmod again would help, as it made it way better years back... but it seems logmod is broke now, with logmod enabled the server doesnt show up in the browser listing, except in favorites of which I cant connect to it anyway.. gives a 'server has wrong app id' or some such error. But I could connect to it fine via the console. But removing logmod and its fine.. mehh to be outdated eh? lol

thats how hlsw used to work anyway, it works and disconnects after a while and u have to push get log again, it's just more bandwidth saving

this problem had fixed itself for us in Snaggles group a few days ago, and we assumed the HLSW servers were just down or needed rebooting and thats what was causing this error
but ive just now seen that the error is back for us, so i dont know if its just the hlsw servers playing up again or if its gonna stay like this

Yep it worked for 1-2 days now error back. Cannot login (get timeout) and cannot get internet log, because it cannot detect my ip
