I was using the Steam Library with the Grid View, and after switching to Details View, there was a Counter-Strike: Source Beta entry. I'm downloading it now, just to be sure I won't miss it if it's true, but I have my doubts, can someone confirm this?

EDIT: Also, the list of friends who play that game only have people who had the first beta.

I've checked the store page for the previous beta AppId and it returned to the main page, so I thought it wasn't released. Thanks anyway.

Starting today the Counter-Strike: Source Beta will be available to all PC Counter-Strike: Source players. Its not new. The beta has been available in my steam downloads list for a long time

at the bottom it says "Beta Participation" "not participating (1 currently available) "
click "change" "Beta Update" I have just never bothered with it. it's been there for as long as I can remember.

Thais a Steam Client BETA and has nothing to do with CSS in any way.

The Client Beta adds a revamped Chat System to Steam which allows you have have multiple chats open in one windows with tabs.
