Hi,

I'm a beginner in surfing. I'm still struggling to complete some of the tier-1 surf maps.

I mostly play surf for fun and I don't care about developing surfing skills.

The problem is that I lose speed after crossing 3-4 ramps and I cannot enjoy entire map.

I'm thinking to develop a plugin which can give players enough push/boost so that they can reach to next ramp even if they have got less speed. Some sort of boost from each ramp.

Any ideas how do I do this ?

I thought of modifying player's velocity but that doesn't work because we don't know how much velocity is actually required.

Any inputs ?

not sure why any1 would wanna use this though....its kinda like cheating.....and you still suck at surf XD

You can do a plugin like boomix so when player press IN_ATTACK1 or IN_ATTACK2 (code for check button presses -> https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=151142 ) then you apply more or less velocity (code that modify velocity and you could use -> https://github.com/Franc1sco/Franug-...e_menu.sp#L206 ).

If you need more help I could help you since I like the idea.

I will post the code later today, currently at work. Not too sure if releasing it as whole new plugin would be worth it. Anyhow, at least in my opinion it is pretty fun to surf maps that I would not be able to do, and the easy maps are not that boring anymore.
