I am not really sure what is is or how it is done, but people complain on my server all the time about spec killing.

I have 9.8a 1.17.4 and am running czero and people spec kill, meaning they continue to play while in spectate mode. Not sure if it gives them any benefit but it is annoying.

anyone know how to fix it, turn it off, whatever???

if you have a shitty hero that respawns people and doesn't do proper checking it would cause it.

the current zeus does all the correct checking to prevent that.

yes phoenix, chucky, etc... any hero that causes someone to be respawned except zues can cause this, if the person goes into spectate while having this hero... because these heros arent written well, chucky is poorly done.

you have a choice of putting up with it or disabling one by one to see which causes it and wait for it to be fixed

Well the problem relies in almost none of the heros being original/different. One code is copied from another so if the code is broken in one, more then likely it's broken in all heros with a similar power...
