To my understanding, the engine module has things running all the time, thus using resources when they may not be needed. Fakemeta can do all that engine can do but it does so only when you tell it to, thus using less resources.

What this boils down to is that if the server has the engine module running anyway, removing the references to it from this plugin won't make much of a difference. However, there is an increased expense when the server didn't have the engine module running but then had to for the sake of this plugin.

Here's a helpful link concerning fakemeta.

Might wanna fix that.
Kinda helps if you tell us who your post is directed at
Sorry, I was talking about the original one.

I also created a website called Rust Tools. It will calculate and tell you the raw amounts of resources needed to craft items.

Its 1am here, and I may have missed this, but does this only let spectating admins use this plugin?

Also was wondering how much resources this plugin uses...

This plugin only lets dead or spectating admins to view the esp things. This plugins does not affect my server with resource problems so I think it is fine.

v3x: i probably now what causes this error (spec[id] could be zero), anyway i rewrite the whole code to optimize it and get rid of those 2 nested loops where all messages are sent (nearly) the same time. i plan to evenly distribute the messages, among other things.. stay tuned for next version.

darkfyre: as BoK | Krazy aready said: it's only on if you are spectating of course; because of those cheaters i quit playing cs on public servers. I will never release a version which does this !!

Good deal,

Don't want regs to even start accusing admins of thinking we are hacking when we start posting screenies on forums of those caught by the system. Anyways, incase one of the regs comes here, just want to make sure it clearly states it doesnt allow admins to use it while living

Cheers.. is great to see new plugins to catch hackers using newer hacks than what hlguard can block.

Running Ver. 1.2

When ESP is set to on, in the first person, and I am in spec, I ahve nothing on the screen. Then is will appear again.

Any Idea what might be causing it?

try the following:
when in first_person spec. press your 'move backward' key that is say's [Admin Spectator ESP] OFF and then 'move forward' to get: [Admin Spectator ESP] ON.
is it now working correct?
