Hello, i made a simple plugin for showing a MOTD, but it doesn't show nothing, and there are no errors in console or compiling.

Here's the plugin:

then what can i use instead ? cause i see lots of servers that open some kinda motd

Please note that the way this works is a popup window, it basically passes the "goto" link to a page and that page opens a popup window directing to the "goto" link. It is advised to host the page on your own webserver as letting some one else have control over your displayed page can become malicious.

EDIT: Boomix also made a neat version that has a better scroll bar:
