Hi there,
I would like to have a plugin what records a demo when someone gets banned. I found this plugin: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=279296
However, the author wrote the server lags when it makes a demo.
So does somebody have some experience with that?
Or do you know about another plugin what can make demos?

The underlying technique is the problem: Using the tv_record <name> command results in lag. I don't think that can be fixed.

Start the recording when there are 2 or more players on the server.

Stop it when thee are less...

Hi!
I'm trying to achieve the exact same thing: record every single match but delete it after a set time in order to avoid filling up my server space with useless demos.
The only issue with the linked plugin is that the minimum frequency for the clean up process is 12 hours.
I would like to be able to delete the demos after one single hour, but I have no clue how to change the source code of that plugin to achieve that.
Everything else is fine with the 12 or more hours frequency. I just need the ability to auto delete the demos after one hour or so.
The idea is that if someone reports a player, we download the demo and keep it safe to review it later, and everything else is deleted. Ez.
Really hope we can get this done thanks for any help

EDIT: yeah just noticed that I had already posted all this in that plugin thread. No replies tho
