Used to have it on windows cs:s server.

Use the latest Metamod Source.

I've used it for a long time, runs just fine. Try starting it with a clean server with only metamod, see if it works. Maybe there is some kind of conflict with another plugin.

Other than that, I don't know, never had an issues with this plugin.
