That's no different than releasing what you would call the "bad" version of the plugin. You have to think in terms of the big picture, not about the small details.

VAC does it, but that doesn't necessarily mean that third-party developers can do it. So, I suggested ways to improve the reliability of a steamid report without being VAC.
I like the idea of SteamBans, and I wish this problem did not exist just like everyone else, but it does exist. So, I thought it'd be nice to have a discussion about it.
