Referring to the issues on OS X, does anyone know how much time/effort would be required to compile this for Mac OS X? I'm very keen to do it, but haven't got the slightest idea where to begin!

Hi,

Is it possible to make your plugin l4dunreservelobby plugin compatible with left4downtown_l4d2 extension version?

If I install this plugin, it asks for left4downtown_l4d while I'm running L4d2.

Hi,

Well this extension just fails to load on my Linux L4D2 server and I don't know why.

I tried the l4d2 version attached in 1st post and I still got this:

sm exts list

[05] SQLite (1.6.1): SQLite Driver
[06] SDK Tools (1.6.1): Source SDK Tools
[07] BinTools (1.6.1): Low-level C/C++ Calling API
[08] Top Menus (1.6.1): Creates sorted nested menus

Edit: I've had a crash, no error log, but it's the first crash since I installed the server, it might be due to this extension, but I can't be sure.

i have Attached "Left 4 Downtown 2.05.7" L4D2 ONLY!!!!!

BOTH THESE Versions work PERFECT with MCFlurry Vote Manager 3 Plugin ;D

using the Developer BETA Doesnt SEEM TO Work correctly with McFlurry Points System + Vote manager.

if you like using RCON and you are using a Remote linux VPS like lets say through GameServers.com

you should consider using "speed-ON" create account click email verify link then add your server IP + RCON password let it execute commands to verify the rcon is correct. then when thats done RCON your way to fun.

UPDATE To the Developer BETA ONLY WHEN YOU HAVE Deleted your STEAMID from the "Admins_simple.ini" and tried to call a map vote or what ever you want to block. once you UPDATE to the Developer BETA as i call it your plugins Should STILL WORK. if not Request a server ERASE and install your plugins carefully. dont always use the CVARS Provided on the Plugin page. ALWAYS Compile a BRAND NEW Plugin and Let the plugins create their own CVARS [cfg/sourcemod]

I'm running a linux L4D2 server solely to get more than 4 player co-op and play some workshop maps. Is this all I'll need? I tried the previous linked mod files posted by st00ne, and while the console will report the version of the plugin, I couldn't get it to recognize any cvar for defining the number of players on the server (I'm only aiming for . I'm about to try these files here, but I notice there is no autoload file, and no .inc files. Do I want to keep the ones from st00ne or delete everything I've installed and the files listed above will be sufficient? Or are these files specifically for use with the developer BETA version of l4d2? Any clarity would be very helpful, and thanks all for contributing, I'm really looking forward to stomping some zeds with a bunch of friends (;

Hi,

Just to make it short, I tried a lot of versions but they are not from me. They made my server crash until today, but I didn't have time to test the latest modifications.
-> Some users posted versions of l4downtown which seem to work according to them, but again, I didn't have time to test them yet.

To make it clear, personnally, I'm still using L4DToolz, and bebop, to allow 8 players on coop and survival, and it's working fine.

So, if you want to have between 4 and 8 players, I suggest you to do like me.

If you want more than 8 players, you'll have to find the l4downtown version that suits your server.
