Hello

I made a switch a few months ago (when orangebox came alive), from mani, ES, ESTools, to SM + CSSM for a gungame server i admin.

With the latest update, and testing snaps, i wish to know if the following needs are possible :

- Remove Completely CSSM Equipement Menu

In cssdm.equip.txt i have following :

but does not seem to make effect.
I still have the Home Weapon Menu that appears.

- Keep in gameplay, players last used weapon.

I wish to remove all old weapons (spawn, kill zone) except the last one use by player when he dies. There could be a time limit mecanism that could remove old weapons if necessary...


if i disable cssdm_enable_equipment "1" , 1rst need is met, but second is not as all dropped weapons disappear, including last weapon used by a player.
If i enable, 1rst need is not met, and second neither : end of rounds i have all dropped weapons present... Imagine when there is approx 20 players... It becomes a mess...

Any help would be appreciated...

If you are using CSSDM just to respawn players, remove CSSDM and install that plugin.

Its a GGDM plugin and is working fine after the latest update.

Just delete the dm_equipment plugin. The DM core will still respawn players, and removes dropped weapons automatically (unless some other plugin is interfering, I have no idea if that happens.)

Hi and thanks to both of you for having taken time to answer me...

Tests are not concluding in both cases ..
- GGSM : Interferes with gungame and TeamBalance severily.. Respawn is too long (3 seconds)

- CSS: DM : Removed equip plugin, but is equivalent to cssdm_enable_equipment "0". I don't have menu, but i dont have any weapons left... Except Gungame, i don't see any plugin interfering with weapons.. (Anti TK, deathbeam, serverdefense, and teambalance)...
I do believe this would need looking after and can help giving you any information on conf, if it could help correcting problem Bailopan...

Interfears with gungame?

I use it on a server just fine and you can set the respawn time to whatever you want with this cvar:

sm_ggdm_respawntime - Time before respawn (default 2.0).

Check my signature as its setup and works perfect with my GGDM server.

Doeant interfear in anyway.
