I could have sworn I used a plugin a few years ago now to test remote db connection by typing details in console? I searched the forums but can't find it anymore.

Anyone want to help a brother out?

just try to find a small player stats plugin that only uses 1 .smx file so you can delete it easily.

yeah cheers mate...I used SQLlog to test connection from my home putter and works fine. The problem being I need to check from my server ip which is from a GSP. I did find the plugin I was referring about though in one of my servers disabled folders. It is called SQLQueries interestingly enoujgh But I guess I didn't upload the .sp file so can't remember exactly how to use and it seems to gone into vapor world here.

I will just do it the old fashion way. Am getting it sorted with my GSP. Believe we are down to getting the correct IP whitelisted.
