Hello, I just rented a server and installed SourceMod and Mmsource and now I cant connec to it.

I get this error. Whats the problem? Please help, I beg you.

My Server config on startup.

-game csgo -console +ip XXXX -port 27025 -maxplayers_override 14 +exec server.cfg -usercon +game_type 0 +game_mode 1 +mapgroup mg_allmaps +map de_dust -tickrate 66

you could connect just fine before sourcemod and mmsource tho right? also have you messed with any mapgroups or tried to add maps?

Please don't take this the wrong way, but as a long time server operator (and assuming you're new to it), I noticed something that isn't right. Unless you actually created a mapgroup called "allmaps", it doesn't exist and could cause your server to not start. You would have had to create that mapgroup in the gamemodes_server.txt file in your base directory (or gamemodes.txt, which is no good because it will be over-written the next time CSGO updates).


You should also manually remove two files from your base directory (/csgo):

subscribed_collection_ids.txt
subscribed_file_ids.txt


On a side note, you should remove the nextmap.smx plugin from your addons/sourcemod/plugins folder because it causes problems when switching maps in CS:GO. Below I will post a link to another AlliedMods thread where I explained how to properly create a map group for someone who was having trouble.

EDIT: I was just looking over my launch options, and noticed all of my servers use -ip where you have +ip .... I honestly don't know if that will make a difference, but I have no issues with startup. I figured it was worth mentioning.

Do not edit gamemodes.txt - edit the gamemodes_server.txt file instead.
