I'm completely new to sourcemod coding and I've only gone as far as the introduction. Is there a way to create a entity that moves around on its own and hurt players when they come in contact?

I'm trying to make a custom gamemode where you have to hunt monsters from MH4U and 3U, but there's too many things I have to do in hammer to do the things I want, so I want to make my own. I want to add most of the game mechanics from 4u like stamina, attack, base health, defense, ect. I would do this in hammer because I know how to use hammer well, but it's way too much work and would be a lot faster if I just code how the monster acts instead of place millions of triggers and relays everywhere.

Also where is a place where I can learn pawn more clearly? The introduction was unclear on how things worked after it started discussing about how to slap someone.
