5 year ago nothing was DDoSed. Nowadays, it's like a common thing, look at big communities. Most of them experienced one or more DDoS attempt during the last year.

you ban someone, you eat a DDoS attempt.
Another time it was just because one guy got killed too much time. Dafuk.

5 year ago no one talked about DDoS on server or website, we didn't even know what DDoS mean...

Good days...

Went to download some plugins this morning and found that unless you had a link to the smx you would not get the plugin from the "get plugin" links. They all just time out.

Was able to DL source code and other attached files.

Cloudfire server will block even 1Tbps attack (1000Gbps)

400 Gbps attack + Cloudfire protection = Some Cloudfire servers down for a hour approx., Original web-site is online

I hate ddos, on last months i got ddos attacked a lot. Cheaters that didnt liked to get banned, kids that was denied the possibility to be admin in servers, and anothers stupid reasons. Well, i dont get attacked with ddos over one month. They will attack more this website, but one day they will get bored if we ignore the attacks and act like nothing happened.

About this method, it is only display a cached webpage, nobody is abble to register in the forums for example or post anot message.

A word record is 400gbps i guess, an cloudflare can never hook this. I sure

The Internet is full of problems. A service may be down because of some attacks. Furthermore, logs are useless. IP addresses always change. Locations are not accurate. Building number is not shown by the IP address tracking. Windows(R) and other operating systems allow passwords like 1, 12, 123, 1234, password, admin, user. A lot of people change location by stealing a low protected dedicated server running Remote Desktop.

Why that?
