Hello,

I'm running a new csgo dedicated server - casual mode.

One very strange problem is when we play in de_dust2, in some rounds we see the new csgo de_dust2, and in some rounds, strangely we play the old cs 1.6 de_dust2.

In other words, when a new round starts in de_dust2, I suddenly see the old de_dust2 1.6 graphics exactly as if im playing cs 1.6.

Note: I have CS 1.6 hlds in the same computer but in a completely different directory.

1.6 dedicated server is installed in C:\hlds

CSGO dedicated server is installed in C:\csgo

CS 1.6 dedicated server is not running.

It's because of the latest CS:GO update. Valve built the old 1.6 version of the map INTO the existing version of Dust 2. Both maps are fully built into the same de_dust2.bsp file. Each "version" (1.6 map and GO map) have their own set of spawn points. How it works is....every new round, the game chooses the opposite version's spawn points so you go back and forth between playing the 2 versions each round.

This should only apply when you are using the CASUAL game mode (game mode 0, game type 0). Until Valve removes this update, which will probably happen soon since it was only done for the CSGO 20th Anniversary update, you'll either have to change your server to Competitive Game (game type 0, game mode 1) or use the Workshop version of Dust 2.

Do you mean the pre "CSGO 20th Anniversary" version of dust2?
