well that could mess up the clients developer setting if they have it on to begin with...

and also doesnt this print it all at once.. so when it shows it onscreen thru dev mode. wouldnt it only show like the last line or two..

Double checked just now.

freewelcomemsg.amxx is in cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins/ and added to cstrike/addons/amxmodx/plugins.ini

freewelcomemsg.txt is in cstrike/addons/amxmodx/configs and consists of "This is a test"

Restarted HLDS again to be sure.

"This is a test" does not show up in console when I join, although the plug-in does show as being loaded:
