Even you use this plugins as VIP or not ... Valve will be angry anyway, bcz value of weapons in steam market will decrease. I got few players that they sold our skins due to this free plugin ^^

It's all server sided so the answer is no.

Although it is possible that Valve may ban using this plugin because of the risks to the market.

How can this risk the market ? All you can do is play with the skins, they have no value.

Also, it seems pretty stupid that Valve will ban tons of people that played on servers running this plugin.

already said, they don't give a f* about community servers. the knife plugin is still alive too. but we can hope they don't ban the server ip's which have this plugin running, if they are ANGRY

They wouldn't ban people for using it. If I can recall correctly something like this happened with TF2 for a plugin like this, they just prevent servers from running it.

If most community servers start getting this plugin or ones like it then people who only play on servers with it can just sell their skins because it won't make any difference. This will make skins lose monetary value for this large group of people, causing a sort of market crash.

But like other users said, I don't actually think they will do anything about it.

had the same when uploading the knife plugin and reloaded the plugin with "sm plugins reload sm_knifeupgrade" command. restart your server and it should work.
