I followed the instructions as listed, but it appears that 8 players are added but there not using the L4d1 survivors. its like 4 nicks 2 coach's Elli's and 1 Rochelle. can anyone please tell me what I could be doing wrong?

Hey everyone, been following this for a while now but haven't bothered to make an account 'till now. Thanks so much to everyone who's been working on this, it looks like it will improve the game exponentially! Does anyone know if this works/will work in Single Player? Or is it designed just for online servers?

So dumb question but I got this running on my server yet whenever I do a co-op game with 5+ people it just doubles the existing L4D2 models instead of using a L4D1 character. What am I doing wrong?

Also how do you select a L4D1 character? Being a server side plugin the L4D2 game isn't going to display the extra survivors in the "pick your character" list.

cant use this. when i do server crashes when map finishes. i assume this is because of CSM.
is there any way to have the extra survivours without using csm.

i have 8 players and i would like to see atleast 7 different ones (i am not fussed about having bill because he is glitchy)
basically i would be happy if there is a server that is always loaded so as many of the players are diferent as is possible, without the option to change the model/skin.

I.E

join game and you have 5 of the l4d2 charicters and 3 of the l4d 1 charicters.
this is automatic and permanent. with no change charicter ability.

Hi,

You should try to run the server without the 2 plugins (CSM and All8Survivors).
Then add one by one to see where the crashes come from.
Then you keep the safe one.

Maybe the pb comes from another plugin, you might want to try without them too.

all my other plugins work fine together and i need them for my server.
if i dont use the csm then i cant change to select the new survivours, so thats kind of pointelss too.
i can "ALMOST" guarantee that its csm thats the issue without tests.
either way the other plugins are essential and work.
having the l4d 1 survivours would be nice but not essential.
If there is a way to load them up on map start automatically without having csm installed id be happy to try that.

Ok, but if you only use All 8 Survivors plugin, you will get all skins. They will be automatically applied.You just will not have the menu to select your favorite skin offered with CSM.

In my experience, I also had troubles with csm and decided to remove it.

But you sometimes you think it's a plugin and it's not.
Because I didn't have much time to spend on it I removed it and I just kept the other plugin for a while.
