hey man, someone posted a new version few hours ago. Maybe you should give that i try.


Before you try the latest one, perhaps try this

this is the one i am using (sorry for misguiding you earlier)

also, make sure you get the latest gamedata even though there is a gamedata file in the folders.

Edit: Well I've had a crash (1st time since server install) and I think it is linked to l4downtown, even if I have no error in my logs this time. I'll stick to L4DToolz and bebop plugin for now.

Hi all. First off, I'd like to say, I have read the replies regarding this plugin, I have the same problem as St00ne concerning the "Plugin l4dunreservelobby.smx failed to load: Required extension "Left 4 Downtown" file("left4downtown.ext") not running." and I have tried Neevar's solutions (I don't quite understand what he is saying but oh well) but in the end it did not work.

So here are my questions:

- Is this plugin working still? If not, is there anyone who modified it to make it compatible with the current L4D2 version?

- Is this plugin supposed to turn the "unreserved" when you type "status" in the console to "reserved" so that the "8 players matchmaking cap" is removed?

- Where do I put this https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...&postcount=699 file in my L4D2 server directory?

- Which of the files from https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...&postcount=938 do I download and where do I put that/them in my L4D2 server directory?

Forgive me for being rude, but please don't give me slipshot replies without answering all if not most of my questions. If possible, please explain why this happens. If you can't, just tell me how to fix it (if you have a link for download, please tell me where to put them).

Hi. Thanks for the help. I managed to successfully solve both of the problems found in my extensions folder. Phew. On the other hand, that is not the end of my problems...

Hi everyone,

Sorry if the question has been already answered... but i have a issue, i get valve_reject_server_full.

I'm trying to create a server for a home LAN with friends (6 players), the goal is to have 6 survivors.
I 've install sourcemod, L4Dtoolz, etc etc...

But, when the lobby get full (4 players), and i try to connect with "Connect IP" on the fifth players i get valve_reject_server_full.

Is this coming from "Remove Lobby Reservation" ? i've put the correct command in console, but the message remain...

Can someone help me about this ?

Hi,

Try to launch the server with -insecure at the start command line.
For a LAN server, you don't need Valve I guess.

Sadly, it does'nt work...
even with -insecure, the fifth user get the message "valve_reject_server_full"

Sry that I don't help much ^^

Are you sure you need this plugin? I use only l4dtoolz and bebop, nothing else, for example. I mean, players don't HAVE to connect through a lobby.

PS: this plugin requires Left4Downtown, NOT L4DToolz. Maybe that's why you get some bugs but idk...

Wait what is this plugin for again? Does it make it so that even after 8 players have connected to your server through the lobby, more random players who are finding matches can still connect to your server?
