Like I told you over Steam, it would do more harm than good.

It would've been better to remove the attachments and then trash it, but I guess whoever deleted it just wanted the quickest possible solution.

As far as I know, there are modules that are used by non steam servers that alter the steam ID.
There are people that can violate the system without the plugin and I or anyone that downloaded the plugin can still violate it.
If they can't have a solid system is their fault, not mine.

Making it easier for Non-Steam to look like normal Steam users (easily rewritten to use SteamID from an IP). Faking as another player for proof as ban or any other punishment for a community. SteamIDs would not be a reliable method for distinguishing players anymore.

1. you are living in the previous century where non-steam uses 47p and patch swds.dll, what do you use to install games? a perfocard?

2. if it can be done, so it will be done. plugin is already leeched or easly rewritten, + do you really believe this is the only one HLDS forum out there?

3. your perfocard calculating is wrong again. Not reliable for whom? for servers owner? - he installed it himself lol. for player? - they have friends tab + they can talk

1. What did you even say? I couldn't understand any of it.

2. Where did I say that this is the only forum for HLDS? The plugin was released here and removed within the same day.
Not many people will have it, so the rate at which it will leak to other people is nothing compared to as if it were still on here.

3. What the hell do you keep mentioning a "perfocard"? Also, I didn't calculate anything.
I was referring to anything that has to do with a player's SteamID, such as an AMXX plugin.
Which brings up another point that if a plugin such as an XP mod has no resetting stats or anything to where an admin could modify a player's stats, the admin could pretend to have their SteamID and destroy everything on that player.
Or if a player needed to get another player's SteamID for whatever reason, they could be getting a fake one.
Another example is that a server could be running UFBCOM (anti-cheat) and whenever the player is detected, just change to another SteamID and continue playing.
