Well I tried, but I quickly had an issue preventing me from finishing the modification. If you take into account that I have to stop the timers in certain circumstances, I think there will be no other way than using handles, like said below:

TF2 version. The only difference is that the speed is reset if you switch your weapon. HF ++

EDIT: Since an update (I don't know which one), the TF2 version is a bit 'broken'. The 1st player to connect your server, when trying to use sprint, is sticked to the ground until he changes weapon, gets fragged or respawns.

So it's not a big deal, but it's weird, isn't it?

Tnx St00ne for making one but it's very buggy...once I hit +use key it sticks me to the ground I can't move at all even after cooldown.

lol, I tried on a MVM server and didn't have this problem.
I'll make some more tests.
If I don't manage to modify this, you'll have to ask noodleboy347 to extend his plugin, if he can...

First I'll just remove the "+use automatic part" and you'll have to bind a sprint key. I'll post it tonight.

Ok I updated it.

I tried with a Heavy, a Scout and a Demo, no pb.

Just bind a key like for ex. bind x "say !sprint" (I removed the +use part).
