Hello guys!

i have a kinda big problem on maps like: mg_acrophobia_run or any others with moving platforms you just loose all your speed if u hit those platforms ..

some infos:

sv_airaccelerate 999999 (i tried all from 100-999999)
sv_accelerate 6
sv_friction 5.2

and i use bhop boost and timer (tested without both plugins)

but i cant get it working.. please help me it would fix a lot of maps for me! thanks in advance


to know what i mean:

you have speed of 1000 and need to get speed from a moving platform, no matter what u do u get to 250 when u jump ( the numbers was only example and not correct)

I think it depends on how you get on that moving platform.
If you hit it in opposite direction of where its moving it should slow you down.
If you hit it in its moving direction it should speed you up.
Does it actually slow down for both directions?

it slows down in any direction. and also platforms which should give you a boost so you can fly a bit higher to climb a obstacle doesnt give you that boost.

Maybe it would help to set that sv_friction to 0.
I never used that cvar myself and never had problems.
Also theoretically friction is never good if you want to prevent speed loss.
