In fact, what I talked about is basically exactly what you're asking for.

It's too complex and messy to implement. Just split things up. You can use an SCM or something to ease pain.

Bailopan, your initial response was based on the premise of a single SM used for multiple servers, which was predicated by KLs misdirection.

In a word, the answer to my OP was --- NO.

We're suggesting alternates. Seeing as you have several game servers on one box if you were running on Linux, you could share ONE databases.cfg, seeing as there is no reason to have more than one, at least, in 90% of the time.
