Is there a guide for installing SourceBans locally? I have a netbook that I'm not using which I can run it on, but I'm not sure how. I would love to use Angrygaming but their site is messed up ("Order now" page is blank).

Is there anyway of cleaning out bans over a certain age that were not perm bans?
As the GMOD gamemode I run on 2 servers (Trouble in Terrorist Town), sees a lot of bans per day (both Admin and Auto low Karma bans)

And since I have been using Sourcebans for about 9 or so months now, the ban list in Sourcebans has got quite large (4400 at time of writing this )

So is it possible to run any commands or something in the mysql database to clean out bans that are older than 6 months and not perm bans?

Ive set this up on 3 servers so far, all bans are successfully sent to the sourcbans site. My problem is that the sourcbans webpanel wont show the gameservers as running. So it works from game to webserver but not from webserver to game, the error is simply .Error connecting

I'm using cPanel and in the mysql section I have added the game ip to the remote MYSQL access page

The game server IP I have added is 27.50.90.20

Can anyone with cpanel knowledge of an idea of why it wont connect help me out please?

DELETE FROM sb_bans WHERE ends < time()-15552000 AND length != 0

Get this in php then cron task it say daily
Now any ban over 180 days old gets deleted
This isn't clean as it will leave entries in other parts of sourcebans, it's a quick fix, if you want something clean and complete then shout me and I'll write a full script

Your webhost might be blocking the connection, SourceBans doesn't check the game servers via MySQL so SourceBans will connect and function as it should but the interface will show as Error Connecting for all servers

Thanks max. As embarresing as this might seem I am the webhost. I have a WHM webhosting account that I use for my own purposes.

I did search sourcbans forum and I have found the following

Which ports does the SourceBans webpanel require to be open? If your web panel shows Error Connecting for your game server when it is actually online, ask your web host to open UDP incoming from your game server port (usually 27015). If either the RCON console, Admin Rehashing or Kick-It does not work on your web panel, ask your web host to open TCP outgoing to your game server port (usually 27015).

I am unaware of how to allow UDP incomming or outgoing. I have sent in a support ticket to my WHM providers

After asking nicely they unblocked the needed ports but I am still having trouble, theres been no change. Ill look at it further
