Hi all,

I have a little problem with sourcebans,
I have 5 servers listed on my page but 1 gives me an error connection message,
if I restart the server and it is empty it will show up, but the moment someone joins i get the erro message again.
connecting with rcon from sourcebans works I can give commands.
all correctly set up in the cfg file server number.

only cannot seem to find the problem, hopefully you know

I have 2 questions:

1- In my banned_ucer.cfg there is some bans, and now I installed sourcebans 1.4.7. Sould I add all bans to web interface and leave banned_user.cfg empty?

2- About STEAM_0: and STEAM_1:
I'll use sourcebans in my CSS, L4D2 and TF2 servers. If a player is banned in "Server1", he is banned in all other servers (servers enabled in my web interface). What about in L4D2 that the ID of the players is different? How they will be banned because your steam in CSS, TF2 is STEAM_0: and in L4D2 is STEAM_1

1. If you want those players to be banned on all your servers use the Import feature to add them to the database. You can leave your banned_user.cfg empty from that on, except you want a player only be banned on that one server.

2. SourceBans uses regular expressions to handle the steamid, so those differences are known and no problem.

Thanks Peace-Maker for answer my questions. I'll use import to add ban in all my servers. Glad to hear L4D2 steams is also banned.

I have a stupid newbie question:

Is it possible to install PHP and MySQL on my server hosted by SleekServers? If not, can somebody point me to a free webhost that SourceBans is known to work on? Thanks.

angrygaming.org offers free hlstatsx:ce and sourcebans hosting iirc. It just takes a little while for your account to be setup sometimes.
