Hi,

I have experienced more than normal crashes on my windows TF2 server. SM/MM versions shown in my sig.

I'll gladly provide my meta list, plugins list, etc. if that is needed. I have already confirmed that everything, that I know of, loads.

I have done the following to date in order to try and track down the source --

1. Eliminated plugins
2. Updated plugins
3. Review tf/logs folder and sourcemod/logs folder

I know the above might seem a bit vague, but most of you other SA's know you start w/ one hypothesis, then go down the path to prove/disprove it, only to then start another path, all of it during/while trying to keep ppl in the server to get feedback. lol grrr

Therefore, I've attached some mdmps hoping that they might point to something. These ones are for last night, the most recent.

Most of my crashes seem to occur on a map change in the last couple of weeks. Some though...are during game play.

I debugged one and got

Got any plugins that touch materials or perhaps anything close to that?

You check your error logs and SM is up to date? RTD is out of date.

I have error log message that is for Custom Votes plugin, which did not occur on the date of the dumps I provided. I have removed this plugin also for the time being.


I don't know how I missed that RTD was not to the latest version, v0.3.8.1. thanks for that catch. It's now been applied.


As for SM up to date, for me that always means the current stable release, which is 1.3.1. You can see that in the plugins list, but I probably should have tossed up meta list too. Do you mean something else when you say --- SM is up to date?

1.3.1 should be fine. See if those fixes stop the crashes.

So far, I believe the fix was updating the RTD. Thanks for the sharp eye DWN.

i've also put back in my Custom Votes plugin, still all good.
