Hi Atomicstriker !

I want to use only the melee fatigue in your plugin , so I use :

l4d_cloud_damage_enabled 0
l4d_cloud_meleeslow_enabled 1

but I notice no change when survivors use melee in the smoker's cloud.

Are you sure that it works?

l4d_cloud_damage_enabled 0 actually disables the entire plugin.


Download the current build and set the damage convar to 0 instead.


EDIT:

I've looked over the Ghost Exploit problem again and put in a brutal solution .. THAT WORKS.

Did you remove this? If you gave it it's own thread (like you should have ), I can't seem to find it. Are you still developing it? Please, for the love of all that is fat and jiggly keep at it! It's funny, people still haven't caught on to the Boomer doing 20dmg when he pops! lol

Anyway, if you are still developing it... any chance of making the bile actually splash on the survivors? Like it used to before Valve nerfed it...

As for the Smoker plugin, no more errors that I've seen! Thanks and good job! Stop by sometime to check it out in action!

AtomicStryker i've updated my server with your plugin (version 2.0) and when im as a ghost smoker and switch to spectators near the survivors they are still suffering so that hard fix dont work for me. Let me know if theres anything i could do

That's odd. On the player_team event the Plugin should erase any Cloud damaging timers, and it worked when i playtested it.

Because the Boomer Splash plugin is rather crude (like this one LOL), it works through walls and everything. I wanted to code it to the player_not_it event, but i can't seem to distinguish biled Survivors and the kerploded ones.

Exploding through walls can hardly be ever used for griefing. Its not a big deal unless someone set damage to really high values. I have it at 4 splash damage, and ppl usually prefer to use boomer for his main purpose, rather than get killed to deal some minor unguaranteed damage (most ppl doesnt even notice that boomer's explosion deals damage ) And its not so crude, it gives some flood messages to console, but other than that it works properly, you actually told me a news that it works through walls.

what plugin are you using for being able to spectate?

with the away plugin i can write in console or bind "spectate" command or forceswitch myself to spec

Version 2.0 worked perfectly for me.
The exploit was neutralized, You will correct the pluigin splash_damage too?
