Just a tiny plug-in that adds temporary 5 minute ip bans for users that try to connect with banned SteamID - protecting you from connect spam.

v2: added a check for invalid client id

so this blocks the spam with people connecting a million times after they've been banned? Awesome great addition.

Honestly, you should add a cvar for how many attempts it takes before it does that.

Hm, isnt 5 minutes too much ?

If you ban him for less then 5 minutes, he IP will be still banned.. so i think 1 minute ban is better.

I dont. Its only 5 minutes...

Who bans people for less than 5 minutes? That doesnt even make sense. Thats called a "kick"....

Anyways, you can always very easily download and EDIT the plugin yourself. Insert any duration you want.

If it worked with sourcebans I would install it since SB doesnt block connect spammers.
