saving data isn't doing anything TO a player. Its doing something to the db using the player's data.

For isntance.....
You CAN display a message to everyone about a player's leaving.
But you CAN'T change a player's settings or anything. Well....theoretically you could, but it wouldn't be the player anymore next time its called.
