Snowball concept by icequeenzz

the idea overal

Be able to throw snowballs in team fortress 2. that do minor damage and give u a slowed effect.


Story

Its a cold winter eve, the tf2 characters begin there 20050034's battle.
While they start to pack there stuff one of em looked out side. he screamed... " Look its snowing".
He got all his mates around him and started to make a surprise plan.
When they doors opened they all went out the door. they looked for snowballs and started to throw them onto there enemys.
They where totaly surprised and where freezing to death by the cold power of the snow.
When they came back to live at there base. they also made a plan. they all went scout and also started to collect snow.
It ended up into the greatest snowball fight is tf2 history.


Idea:

Replace sandman with only the ball remaining (no bat anymore)
usin this ball can be done with right or left mouse button
when hit by this ball ur speed will be decreased and you will glow blue (freezing)
u wil also lose 10hp and 10hp over time (from the freezing effect)

every class wil get theire snowball as 3th weapon
when spawning each class will be equipted with it

the spys first weapon is changed to "knife" this cuz spy would be less valuable if it wasnt

u'll spawn without any snowballs and also the ammo lockers wont give u any snow
u have to collect them by taking ammo packs.


remain snowball as 3th weapon when recharging at locker

when walking across an ammo pack u gain 10 snowballs (max 50 )

other ideas to realise it are welcome. i lack skills to make it myself so i putted it out here as a request.. hope someone likes the idea and shares my vision.

And for the model of the snowball it could just be the sandman ball with a changed material.

yup indeed. but think the hardest thing to do is make bat unable to use and make it "disapear" ..

Not sure but I think you could set the viewmodel's alpha to 0 and then just block attack1 (with sm 1.3)

would be great, cuz it also needs to disable or block the left button attack

Are you using sourcemod 1.2 or 1.3?
To block attack1 you'll need to use 1.3
