Ok now it works. My gamehoster installed that file on the Server. Now its all OK

Why can't I get this to play a sound after an arena match is over? The file downloads and I can play it using /sm_play @all but it's just not working after the round is over. Please help!

After the SteamID change, many of my players are reporting their intro sounds are no longer being played when they join the server. I am using SourceMod 1.6 (latest snapshot) and nothing has changed on my end with regard to files, file locations, or this plugin. Only began happening since the SteamID change. My admins and donors report no issues with Sourcebans (which is what identifies who can play what sounds). Any ideas?

Am I reading the code for this plugin correctly when I notice that only CS:S (and maybe CS:GO) have working round end sounds?

I also want to report that join sounds no longer work.
I've some build-in ingame sound join sounds and they do no longer work.

Seems most plugins with custom sounds stopped working with sv_pure 1, i keep spamming threads with this to see if anyone has any clues on how to fix without changing sv_pure

After October 15th update I started having issues with all plugins with custom sounds not playing any of them (an in the particular case of Brofist, just crashing the client as well)

I found a server running the quake sounds plugin (currently not working on my server) that had the quake tag, I entered and found the plugin was working there, so it had to be something on my server and not TF2.

I even found that I could not play the local copies of the quake sounds files on my computer using the play command from the console while connected to my server but I could if i was connected to the other server I had found, so guessed it was an sv_pure issue

I changed sv_pure on my server to -1 and everything was working. However , my server was on sv_pure 1 and had always been, I had not added any exceptions to the whitelist file and still all plugins using custom sounds worked great, so its something valve changed on sv_pure 1 that now broke the plugins, or maybe sv_pure now works as it should always have.

I'm using sv_pure 0 but build-in joinsounds don't play for me in TF2.

This Plugin is just weird ^^

I never had joinsounds working. I am using this for years now, but never had joinsounds working.
Then after Steampipeupdate I had a struggle with saysounds.cfg (had to put a / at the end of each line to work)

Now every sound just reduced its volume and volume controll does not work anymore. Maybe someone is searching a project and can recode this? =)

.....okay, I feel like I should set the record straight: Join sounds, or anything using a steamid is xurrently messed up until SM fixes it.
