Ok, soo a small AMXX patch and metamod patch tommorow sounds good to me.

In the mean time I need to port a map management plugin so I can play those CZ maps.

#32

I am starting metamod using the following line in my liblist.gam

Code:
gamedll_linux "addons/metamod/dlls/metamod_i386.so"
To correct the metamod problem do the following : (for linux)

1 ) Create a config.ini in the metamod directory.

2 ) Place the following line in the config.ini

Code:
gamedll dlls/cs_i386.so
For Windoze :

1 ) Create a config.ini in the metamod directory.

2 ) Place the following line in the config.ini

Code:
gamedll dlls\mp.dll
Start server (pray)

This forces metamod to use the defined dll rather then search and fail looking for the cstrike dll.

I currently have the following running on my server :

phpUA
ClanMod
StatsMe
Webmod
ChickenMod

Hope this helps.

Nov.

Ps.

I know this wont be liked my the forum mods but if you would like to see these working :

phpUA
WebMod

Server IP : 217.10.140.208:27101

The CS:CZ maps are a bit buggy on Steam 1.6 but they play nice... just clean version of same 8 maps. Beware on Aztec if you run a Linux server, two models have mixed syntax and caused maps crashes until I made a seperate folder with CAPS in the name

I have them all on my server if you want to check them out, downloading from the server will take forveer, but if you have them installed it will be quick.

Some of us already had a discussion on IRC about the use of those maps on a CS 1.6 server...
One mailed VALVe and got a reply back: It's not legal.
So now... do as you want... but I wouldn't do that if I were in another country... ofcourse being in Romania.. I don't really care but you guys watch out ;)
Btw: you could make use of sv_downloadurl

Using a map is not illegal in a game that MADE itself due to user customization... there is no CS without guys making their own stuff. They just want folks to buy CS:CZ, elsewise they'd have had the download sites shut down. LOL, that is funny really...

That's what I said too... untill someone mailed VALVe about that issue
But anyway... I _WILL_ use the maps if I like them. (didn't tested it)

Btw... I just checked the manul.htm from czero/manual/ ... it still says Counter-Strike 1.5

Hehehe... I am grabbing cs_downed_cz right now from a server... the mappack mentioned perviously only had 8 maps... now I am looking for the rest...

With servers on the list showing them it wont be hard to find

Vic/DT

Prodigy was the only map that wasn't spiced up much... others are much nicer...

Yea I have 8 maps that are in the maps pack provided on page 1.

There are many more CZ maps

and for me they run quite well, no lag and such, I also have converted over to the sv_downloadurl for very fast downloads

check them out on my server (located in sig) and also check out the only working AMXX version (that I know of) of Deags_Map_Manager
