Hello,

I am running a server with the gamemode "murderer" (popular on Gmod) but for CS:GO ofc. However, I am using a voice radius plugin, so you only hear the people nearby. Which works great, but to get a better roleplay feeling I'd prefer if you didn't actually see who is talking down in the left corner.

To be clear, I still want to be able to hear other players. But I don't want the little voice thing to show up in the left corner, so you don't really know who is talking.

To fix this, I got two ideas.

Either just remove this little thing which shows who's talking, or don't display names there.

I have searched the whole internet for something like this, but I can't find anything. Can someone help me?

You mention Gmod, which SourceMod doesn't support, and you're in the Scripting section asking for a plugin - are you in the right forum?

This is possibly possible with gmod's client-side lua integration, but is almost certainly not in other Source games, the voice name display is directly tied to receiving voice data.

The "easiest" thing to do, and it is probably doable with the detour-capable DHooks fork, is to make it so all voice chat gets broadcast as coming from a single client ID (which could be a bot or GOTV if you're using it).
