    Customize models and attach unusual effects to projectiles.

    UPDATE 1.1 auto reload models

    INSTALLATION
    • Place effects.cfg and projectiles.cfg in /configs/tf2projectiles/

    CVARS/COMMANDS
    • tf_custom_projectiles_version (1.1): Version number. Do not change. Do NOT place this in your configs.
    • Command sm_proj (default "custom6" flag) - open up a menu to set model and unusual effect on a projectile.
    • Cvar cvar sm_cproj_effect_time (default 5.0) - time a projectile effect is attached (in seconds)
    To add models to the menu, insert new KeyValues to projectiles.cfg as:
    Quote:
    "[name of model here]"
    {
    "Model" "models/[...].mdl"
    }
    To add unusual effects to the menu, insert new KeyValues to effects.cfg as:
    Quote:
    "[name of effect here]"
    {
    "Classname" "[effect classname from items_game.txt]"
    }

    Does it open a menu auto when you join, or must i type something in game ?

    And what is the idea with this. You can get a hat that you do not have ? With a effect on it ?

    Sorry for the noobish question here. Maybe this can be fun on my fun server.

    Type sm_proj in game and it will open up a menu to select the model and unusual effect for your projectile. The idea is to change projectile models and attach unusual effects to them. So we can have a flaming cake launcher!

    This will not give you hats. It could make your rocket launcher shoot cake.
