Still got crash on 0.3, nothing special seems to appear in the log (btw wih one do you need especially). Love the sm_propplayer.

Do you know when it crashed? At start of bonus round or what?

If it was at start of bonus round, can you send me your sm log file? You have sm_logactivity set to 1? Anyways, the log would be helpful if you could PM me that....

I havnt figured out whats crashing yet. I tried to look into it. Im gonna make a few small changes in 0.4. I think its getting stuck somewhere in one of the loops.

Update: v0.4

- Removed sm_forcethird cvar. This isnt needed in TF2. I forgot losing players are already put into thirdperson. Woops.

- Changed IsValidEdict to IsValidEntity on the model deletion/checks. (Possible crash related?)

- Added 2 more models. (Single Tire and Trashcan)

It was during the bonus round, some of our users think that some props make the server crashed (the water thing) but i can't confirm any thing.

You should left the third person view for the admin command.

Its possible that it could be a model. Pay attention to the explosive crate and wood barrel models, I was unsure about those 2. What water thing? The water pump or water cooler? Remember, you can easily remove models from the .txt file, so if you think its a model, try removing it and see if it stops crashes. Lmk if it does....

If you have noticed, I have it log activity for model code. In your SM log file, it will spam a log msg for each line run in the model code for each client. If its crashing on an aspect of that, it should probably be visible in the log(because the log will close out after a line is run before the loop is finished).

Thirdperson:


I did not remove the thirdperson command, only the FORCE of thirdperson. I forgot that players are already put into thirdperson view in TF2 on the losing team, thus making that cvar uneeded. Um... you think it should force third for the admin command? I think its better if users toggle it(remember clients can still toggle it on themselves). The problem with the thirdperson command is, its not the same as if sv_cheats 1 was on and clients did "thirdperson" on themselves. Its kind of a half-assed thirdperson view which distorts clients movement keys.

Also on the linux server some of the models dont actually show? i.e i changed myself to the milk jug and i was invisible.

So far no errors from the new version on my windows server

Server`s are both running SM 1.3.1 and MM 1.8

Humm, thats odd.. I know some others run it on linux fine and ive never seen any errors like that. I dont get why it would error on linux but not windows. It looks like its saying something about the invisibility code and m_nRenderMode wasnt found for some specific entity.... I dont understand why that would be specific to a certain platform, and I use that invis code in lots of plugins which are on linux.

Youre saying you didnt have that error before in previous versions? Cause the new one, I hardly changed anything..

thats correct Retsam

If i reload the plugin it works again, it mainly happens just when the map is a bout to start i.e when the time at the begging of the map hits 0 then starts, that is when the error some times pops up.

by the way

i was testing the admin only function and applying props to myself and no one else? did the same thing on the windows server and that was ok after the map timer hit 0 and then the map starts.
