You can also use nVault, super easy to use, but the file is in binary format so you cannot edit in a text editor. You can store plugin settings and/or player data.

How do you know that he wants an .ini file to store player data in?

I didnt say it was only for player data. I said it can be used for anything, including plugin settings or player data.

Plugin settings too? How can you edit a vault file so fast?
