How about applying the m_bGlowEnabled effect to the model used for halloween gifts ( I think the model is mdl_gift ).

Would certainly make finding it easier!

Not possible.

The server has no knowledge of the gift.

The "item server" tells each client to spawn the gift individually and the clients coordinate to tell the item server who received it.

Is there a way to intercept or relay the co-ordinants from the client to the game server?
