hey!
I'm trying to install MM:S on a CSS SourceDedicated-Server on Linux Ubtuntu.
Now on the server there is running Eventscripts v.2.1.1.360 and Mani Admin Plugin 2010 v.1.2vb VSP Orange.
I installed all the correct files in addons and put the .VDF there too.
The version of MM:S is 1.8.5...
Here you can see the paths:


I restarted my server and typed "plugin_print":

So there isn't MM:S.
Then i typed
plugin_load ../cstrike/addons/metamod/bin/metamod.2.ep2v.so
ans the following error appears:
Could not get IServerPluginCallbacks interface from plugin ../cstrike/addons/metamod/bin/server" Unable to load plugin ../cstrike/addons/metamod/bin/server"

My VDF looks like this:

"Plugin"
{
"file" "../cstrike/addons/metamod/bin/server"
}

To start the server I use this command:
./srcds_run -game cstrike +map de_dust2 -maxplayers 12 -debug -port 27016

If you did "plugin_load ../cstrike/addons/metamod/bin/server" and it gave you the above error, I'd guess the file is corrupt. (The file you gave plugin_load and the file in the response aren't the same, I guess you messed up copying and pasting.)

Make sure the files transferred properly. if you used FTP, make sure you didn't send them in ASCII mode by accident.
