Is there a way to set a weapon to start with? For example start with Elite and MP5??

A lot of the time people join my CSSM server and do not understand how to select a weapon so they only play a couple minutes with the pistol and knife and then leave because they are getting owned.

Or maybe this is set in the CSS base itself?

well they have to be able to read to play DM. If they cant see a menu pop up and select a weapon maybe they shouldn't be there, its all pretty self explanatory really, an idiot could use it. As for setting a base weapon to use when joining I don't think so but I didn't write the plug so maybe I missed something.

if you look in cssdm.equip.txt you'll see this. Maybe you could try playing with it. From looking at it it disables the menu and resorts to the standard buy method for weapons. I have no idea Ive never tried it

Lol, yeah I gotta agree it seems pretty fool proof but still I see it happening. I think they join and hit the B key to select weapons and nothing happens so they just start to play and never take the time to actually read the screen.

Perhaps this is just the way it is going to be then.

try what I placed above just change NO to YES and see
