It's possible to have knife on l4d2. Ive seen that. There should be a plugin or something for that.

the author Crimson_Fox has been inactive for a while now ( Last Activity: 26-07-10 05:10 ) I suggest you to try this thread instead : [L4D2] Gun Control

as for the knife (and riotshield for that matter) , its a bit trickier, cause they need script files, melee weapon manifest and the edited campaign setup files (for the official ones at least), so closest to this I guess would be this thread

Good Evening,

I place the plugin (found on the first page) in the /sourcemod/plugin

I add a line in sourcemod.cfg (l4d2_wu_mp5 1)

I restart the server

But when i connect to my dedi on Parish as example, i have not the MP5

Could you please help me ?

I often see errors from this plugin... and those mentioned a few posts back.

I would very much like to have more weapons. If the Weapon Unlocker Plugin can add a MP5 - why not more? Specifically, I would like to see the AA-12 and realistic gun sounds. Surely this can be done server side?

Because the MP5 was programmed into the game.
