Hello all!

I've recently got into CS 1.6 cinematography and wanted to get some shots in slow motion. This can be done with HLTV, but not in real time like you would in The Specialists mod on a server.

Slow Motion in The Specialists:

I want to request a plugin that affects time globally in a server for the purpose of filming in CS 1.6.

Commands like host_timescale and host_framerate do not give the desired result. The plugins submitted for slow motion like Advanced Bullet Time 2.0 by rkapl, Advanced Slow Motion By Krot@L and Eye of the storm 1.3 by Tolsty do not GLOBALLY slow down the game server the same way HLTV or The Specialists does.

Is this possible? I've scoured the Half-Life SDK's source code and only found one line that eludes to time: #define DRC_CMD_TIMESCALE that's in the HLTV header file. Is there a way to play with this command in real time on the Gold Source engine on a live server?

I've asked The Specialists community if there's any source code for how they went about it, but they don't have the answer.

Would appreciate someone with the know how to tackle this project. My understanding of meta mod plugin and amx programming is very limited. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
