.: Description :.

You can add a new custom sky for a specific map in your server. Editable through the

ive always done this by editing the entities in the bsp file...

but this is a much easier way for ppl to do it without having to bother uploading a whole bsp file everytime

i could get .wads to precache, just not actually use them.

Assuming that you're using custom .tga's, you need to change the cvar "sv_skyname" to the sky's proper name. You might want to put that in server.cfg, then change the map afterwards.

Example: sv_skyname "desert"

Im Having a problem here....i have all 6 of my .tga files in cstrike/gfx/env and i did everything it said...even made a Custom_Sky.cfg in config file. I have this custom map...it works only once....when my server starts up...then everytime i change the map...it goes back to its default sky....and the sv_skyname changes to "des" or "doom1" or something else. I want it to stay at sv_skyname "backalley" but it doesnt work. I have it in my server.cfg it doesnt seem to work. It only seems to be working when my server is first start up. I try editing the Custom_Sky.cfg it doesnt seem to be working. I have no idea what to do. Ive had to of done something wrong......
