Open the required port you are trying to run the server from.

1: Make sure you have portforwarded the ports needed (http://portforward.com/)
2: Set -sv_setsteamccount "xxxx" in launchoptioins, OR in server.cfg
3: Make sure sv_lan 0 is set in server.cfg

If it is not public after doing so, you've done one of those 3 steps wrong.

Ideally you wanna verify that your ports are open on a site like http://www.canyouseeme.org/

server.cfg is too late to set and adjust sv_setsteamaccount.

If adding it to a config file, you need to use autoexec.cfg.

If you are using LinuxGSM you can use the file "csgoserver.cfg" which is generated by them which is automatically in your launch options so you can additionally use that.

If you put the first line in the server.cfg it will be fine.

Mine is not the first line. Though to be fair I only have about ten lines in my server.cfg, so it may be somewhat related?
