Fixed the bug
The problem was that sometimes the event round_start will be triggered before OnMapStart().

way to go die this has been working great
i did notice something with the sound as well. it says that the sound file is not precatched (in server console) everytime it trys to play it.

Hello, like the plugin although some people find it lame...especially when they lose...
Here's the problem.
Sometimes I can't change can count, the last time it was set to 5, I tried changing to 7 but it went to 3.
Then somehow it got stuck at 2.
(for your information I host a local server, since my connection is good enough)
Most of the times it works great though.
Also somehow since I host I seem to get the tank all the time...very rare for someone else to get tank.
Just a request, since it gets predictable.
Is it possible to get random tank at random time, or cans?
So instead fix 5 cans for example tank comes at 2...then at 8 cans etc.
So you never know when the tank comes?
Or at random times....like after 1 minute...then 2 minutes or after 1 minute 10 seconds? Maybe even at both time and cans?

Hello, it's a great and funny plugin but unfortunately not very reliable. If I set l4d2_scavengetank_spawn_tank_after_can_count = 8 then sometimes the tank spawn at every 4 or 2 cans. If I set cvars at server.cfg the tank doesn't spawn at all but the horde spawns so the plugin is loaded. If I query the cvars from the server console it seems that all of it has the correct values. If I reset the tank spawn related cvar from the server console then the tank will spawn but mostly at wrong can count.

An idea: it would be great to spawn a tank if remaining scavenge time is more than a preconfigured value (e.g. 10 or 2:00 minutes).

@enjoyskillingzombies: The plugin should precatch the sound at mapstart

@all:
The bug that the tank will spawn "randomly" and ignoring the cvar should be gone now. It seems that sometimes the pouredin event was fired multiple times on one gas can.

I also added a witch spawning.
There are two types of a witch spawning:
- 1. a sitting witch near a gas can
- 2. a wandering witch spawning at a directors position
The second one will only be fired, if there are survivors or witches near every gas can on the map.

Im not happy about the directors positioning of the wandering witch, sometimes the witch will spawn far away of the survivors and will never reach them (for example Atrium: the witch will spawn in the 4th floor).

I got so many ideas (from you) and improvments in my head for the next version:
- improve wandering witch spawning
- improve sitting witch spawning by building traces
- add time spawning feature
- change cvars to be like this:
scavengetank_spawn_horde_after_cans_count "11, 13, 15"
scavengetank_spawn_witch_after_cans_count "1, 3, 5, 7"

Why I want random time added, is because at can count, people will count the cans and wait a bit to fill as many as possible in 1 time...

I would love the idea of having
A) having the option to spawn a tank at a random time, but would like to have something set so it doesnt randomly spawn before say the first 90 or so seconds of the map.
B) having the option to set the time the tank spawns at in seconds
C) having the option to have the counter stop when/while the tank is alive
D) add a config file so we can easily changes these added options.

Just some good idea's and love your plug, keep up the good work. One little thing I have noticed the tank music does not always stop, Check on the motel map, never seems to stop for me on that map but on the other hand Im running a lot of plugins so who know.
