Ok here's my problem. I rent a dedicated server. I did a complete re install of it and I installed SM 1.6.0-hg3933 and MM Source 1.10.0-hg846. Now my problem: I installed SM first to see if my server will run and it won't run so I removed the sourcemod CFG folder and it will run. Why will it run without the cfg folder?

Does anyone know why the unedited sourcemod cfg folder or cfg files inside are causing my issue?

Valve removed symbols from new l4d2 server.so, engine.so and other. So now pretty hard to create new mods(on linux and windows!!!) and restoring working old plugins and extensions. Because it make hard reverse engiring and no access to simple check game logic with names(func names, var names). Its big problem. Maybe need create topic on steam for can request restore symbols for linux server.so and engine.so ?

They removed symbols from all of the client files to make cheat production slightly more difficult.

Dedicated servers now use the binaries with "_srv" appended. (engine_srv.so, server_srv.so). Those still have symbols.

Linux fixes for MM:S and SM will be in very soon. I'm doing some final testing now.
