Make sure you are pointing at the entity when you change the color, most you should see the difference (except those with beams). I'll be releasing an update shortly, it will display a message when the color is successfully changed.

Hey Silver, i'm not sure if the new upload of the weather mod and the lamp update itself causes bugs

I have changed some setting into the lamp config file, but it seem the server is not reading it or something

When i placed a temp Lamp, it doesn't change the brightness to 500 and the color to pure white, i have tested out using old plugin, and such, still the same, can you check this out? I'll try to see if anything else is causing conflict with it

Edit: I tried change the color into red, still no luck, even update my sourcemod to 1.4.3hg3479 build from 1.4.2 stable release, i'm not sure if you able to reproduce the bug

Use the menu to change and save the light color, some lamps have default colors regardless of the cvar. You realise "255 255 255" is white?

Yea I know 3 of 255 is white is just inconvenience to set each lamp brightness and their color (non default one) on the menu for each time spawning the lamp

Plugin updated

1.2 (21-Jul-2013)
- Removed Sort_Random work-around. This was fixed in SourceMod 1.4.7, all should update or spawning issues will occur.

[Lamp] Error: Cannot find the Lamp config (addons\sourcemod\data\l4d2_lamp.cfg).

That was disapointing... after saving and deleting so many times.

@Zflagsucks: You may have incorrect file/folder FTP permissions for the game/sourcemod to create .cfg files. Maybe searching on google can help fix. (P.S I know that post is old so maybe you don't play L4D2 anymore but heres a response anyway).
