off topic:

Changing client_connect to join_team wouldn't change anything. Even if client_connect were completely removed, it wouldn't stop the sounds on the client side. The obvious fix that I see would be in the announce function. The call to client_cmd would have to be replaced with a loop that only sent the sound to players that have joined a team.

you think you can give me some code that would check if a player has joined a team before playing the ultimate sound?
