I had the same problem, and I had the same setting here as you.. I switched to using an edited gameinfo.txt and now it works fine.. As long as it works, I guess

The patched files are greatly appreciated, thx. This should hold us till the cavalry returns next week, lol. Anyways... I was curious, with these patched files should we be expecting everything to be functional?

I ran through the menu and tried few commands, slap worked fine though fire had no effect (seemed to do nothing) and the beacon played the sound but the rings were missing?

Again, I'm not complaining, just asking...

Everything seemed to load fine w/ no error logs to report, thx again

I'm having problems with the dev builds in a linux server. I also noticed that in HLSW it doesn't show that mm and sm are installed, although they are.

In the windows server, everything is fine with the stable builds.

remember, its gotta point to the server.so for linux or server.dll for windows

Linux

You may leave off the file extension.

HLSW won't recognize MM and SM on L4D2 servers. You need to use 'sm_cvar sv_legacy_mode 1' to enable HLSW to see those mods.
